The Service Catalog in yatelier is your gallery's centralized library for all non-artwork billable items. Instead of manually typing out shipping costs, framing fees, or installation charges for every new invoice or inquiry, you can instantly select pre-defined services. This ensures standardized pricing, consistent tax handling, and faster quote generation across your entire team.
Standard Service Categories
When you set up a new gallery location, yatelier automatically populates your catalog with standard industry services, which you can fully customize or expand. Typical categories include:
- Transport & Crating: Local art delivery, tracked standard couriers, global shipping with customs clearance, and ISPM 15 certified custom wooden crating.
- Framing: Options ranging from classic canvas shadow boxes to bespoke museum-glass framing.
- Installation & Storage: Professional on-site art handling and secure, climate-controlled monthly storage.
- Insurance: Comprehensive nail-to-nail all-risk fine art coverage.
- General Services: Artwork restoration, conservation, and printed certificates of authenticity.
Services are deeply integrated into your sales pipeline, specifically within the Invoice Configurator and Inquiry workflows.
Managing Your Catalog
You can create, edit, or archive services at any time. If a service is no longer needed, soft-deleting it moves it to an Archive (Trash). This keeps your active catalog clutter-free while ensuring that historical invoices and data remain perfectly intact. If you ever need an old service again, it can be restored with a single click.
