Factor-based artwork pricing

Pricing artworks by canvas dimensions and an artist’s factor is a standard gallery practice, but calculating it manually for every piece takes time. We are introducing factor-based pricing to automate this workflow. To set it up, navigate to Contact → Gallery Artist → Pricing Formula and select “Factor based” (Automated pricing based on canvas dimensions) You can input a base artist factor (e.g., 12) and define custom rules for specific size thresholds, such as “starting from” or “up to” certain dimensions. You can choose whether individual artworks use this automated calculation or a manual price. If an artist's market value grows and you update their base factor, Yatelier won't silently overwrite your existing data. Instead, you will be prompted to review and accept the newly calculated prices for their inventory, ensuring you retain total control.
