Bulk Editing for Artwork Statuses (Multiple Selection)

You can now bulk-edit artwork statuses directly from your artwork lists, saving you valuable time when managing your gallery's inventory. By selecting multiple pieces and clicking the action bar (three dots), you can instantly update the status of several artworks with just a couple of clicks:

    • Active / Draft: Instantly updates the visibility of your selected artworks with no extra steps.
    • Reserved: Seamlessly put multiple pieces on hold. Choosing this status prompts you to select a contact, immediately reserving the entire batch of artworks for that specific collector.
    • Sold: Because selling is more complex process than just changing the status, this option integrates directly into your billing workflow; it automatically opens a new invoice draft pre-filled with your selected artworks.

(Other bulk editing actions are already planned for future updates!)

Profile pictures in contacts (Global Artists only)

You can now view artist profile pictures directly within your contact lists (located under Contacts → All or Contacts → Artists), making it easier and more visual to navigate your gallery's network. This quick visual reference helps you find the right artists at a glance when managing your database.

This update adds yet another distinct advantage to connecting your contacts with the Global Artists Registry. To ensure accuracy and save you time, these profile images are entirely automated - they cannot be manually uploaded or changed, and will only appear when a contact is successfully linked to a Global Artist. Furthermore, you can rest assured that all images are pulled from verified legal sources, with the respective copyright information transparently visible on every artist's profile.

    Language control on location level

You can now fully customize your active content languages on a per-location basis. If your Berlin gallery only needs German and English, you can disable other languages specifically for that location. This keeps your interface clean and focused when entering artwork descriptions, artist biographies, or exhibition texts. Furthermore, when your clients review artworks in public modules like payment links or digital rooms, they can now easily choose to display the content in their preferred active language.

To support galleries with multiple spaces, we have also added a global language overview at the company level. This allows gallery owners to see exactly which content languages are active across all global locations in one centralized dashboard, making international translation management easier than ever.

    Factor-based artwork pricing

Pricing artworks by canvas dimensions and an artist’s factor is a standard gallery practice, but calculating it manually for every piece takes time. We are introducing factor-based pricing to automate this workflow.

To set it up, navigate to Contact → Gallery Artist → Pricing Formula and select “Factor based” (Automated pricing based on canvas dimensions) You can input a base artist factor (e.g., 12) and define custom rules for specific size thresholds, such as “starting from” or “up to” certain dimensions.

You can choose whether individual artworks use this automated calculation or a manual price. If an artist's market value grows and you update their base factor, Yatelier won't silently overwrite your existing data. Instead, you will be prompted to review and accept the newly calculated prices for their inventory, ensuring you retain total control.
